DC’s newest addition to their New 52 line up, The Green Team, begins this month. Issue #1 releases this Wednesday, May 22nd. Dan Slott Signing @ Jim Hanley’s Universe
Hi everybody! I just wanted to share a few pics from a Dan Slott signing I went to yesterday. He was at Jim Hanley’s Universe in NYC primarily signing the first issue of his new series Superior Spider-Man. After waiting for several hours, I was able to get a couple of comics signed as well as get a photo with Slott. He seems really nice in person, and very funny. It was a pleasure meeting him.
I have to give a special thanks to Jim Hanley’s Universe and Dan Slott for setting up this event. It was very well organized and it seems everyone who showed up, nearly 200 people, had a chance to meet Slott personally.

Valiant Joins Free Comic Book Day
Valiant is offering two comics to be given out on Free Comic Book Day 2013. On Saturday, May 4th, along with your other free comics, be sure to pick up these as well. The Valiant 2013: Harbinger Wars FCBD Special will give readers a look at Valiant’s upcoming crossover event, while Valiant Masters will give readers remastered stories from older Valiant series.
If you’re not reading Valiant yet, Free Comic Book Day will be a perfect place to start. But why wait til then? Go out and buy some issues now. For those of you currently reading Valiant Comics, what are your thoughts so far?
